2. Hal is, and will continue to be, synomous with that of "Los Angeles." This wonderful city of angeles will indeed miss him. May he see the face of God and rest eternally with Him.
3. I miss you Hal.
4. What can I say? I lived in LA most of my life and when it cames to the news, if it wasn't Hal Fishman with Larry McCormick, it was no one.
5. Hal was one of the greatest journalists in the nation and along side Larry and Stan, they made up probably one of the best and longest lasting news teams in history. They told it like it is. I commend KTLA for having an anchor such as Hal. I will never forget Hal nor KTLA's News at Ten team! Simply, the best!
6. Hal was home, after moving to Hawaii I always asked So Cal guests if Hal was still on. Sad Day today of hearing the news. Home and 10 PM will never be the same...
7. Every night at 10PM, we retired to our bed to watch and enjoy listening to Hal inform us of the events of the day. He was a compassionate, intelligent and believable newsman and always told it like it was whether it was the popular opinion or not. We loved that and miss him terribly. And his commentaries always made you go, "Hmmm!" The news is not the same and we extend our deepest sympathies to his family and his fellow employees who also obviously loved him dearly. Godspeed, Hal!!
8. MR.FISHMAN YOUR THE BEST VETERAN NEWS ANCHOR IN THE WHOLE WORLD P.S.WE`LL MISS YOU
9. I was so shocked to hear of Hal's passing. I left the Southern California area 2 years ago and it wasn't unitl I recently picked up a monthly aviation periodical that I learned of this. All I can say is that the world of journalism has lost a true professional and gentleman and the world in general has lost a prince among thieves. I grew up watching Hal and he definetly helped shape who I have become today. I wish you good rest Hal and thank you for all you had done for me and the great city of Los Angeles.
10. I HAVE GROWN UP WATCHING HAL ON THE NEWS EVERY NIGHT SINCE I WAS ABOUT 9 YEARS OLD UNTIL I MOVED OUT OF STATE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEND HIS FAMILY AND THE KTLA FAMILY OUR condolences.
