Wounded Warriors, Bill Smith Reports
Bill Smith reports on a special group of U.S. Soldiers, called "Wounded Warriors", who have come back from Iraq to continue fighting a different battle here at home.
They have put their lives on the line for our country -- and for many war veterans, life will never be the same. But, some aren't letting their "war" injuries stop them from taking advantage of the many things we sometimes take for granted. Bill Smith takes us to the slopes of Mammoth to introduce us to these "Wounded Warriors".
Some U.S. soldiers have returned home from the war in Iraq in wheelchairs, with life changing injuries. But, in the High Sierra at Mammoth Mountain, soldiers are finding a way to leave those wheelchairs behind. Bill Smith has part 3 of his special series.
