Post Parade: A Showcase of Floats is a unique opportunity for the viewing public to step up close and see for themselves the majestic beauty and splendor of the floral floats.
After every Rose Parade, the floral masterpieces are parked along Sierra Madre and Washington Boulevards in Pasadena and exhibited for visitors to walk by and see in close detail the design and workmanship that goes into these floats.
Visitors are able to walk almost within arm's reach of the floats and appreciate for themselves the creativity and the imagination of the floral displays. This has been a Pasadena tradition for over 100 years. As an added enjoyment, there are demonstrations of the animated floats. These hydraulic floats will entertain you with their funny and clever movements. Of course, White Suiters will be on hand to answer your many questions. Please come and enjoy the beauty and imagination of these floral creations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the best times to see the floats?
The best time to visit Post Parade is during the early public viewing hours on January 2. At peak viewing times, you may wait in line to purchase tickets, ride the Park-N-Ride shuttle, or enter Post Parade.
How long will it take to see all the floats?
We recommend at least 2 hours.
Why should I take the shuttle bus?
Although it may seem to be more convenient to park on the streets close to the event, it is actually not. Street parking is extremely limited and traffic congestion is high. Our parking lots are free; the easy Park & Ride service is $3. Shuttle bus riders will also be given timesaving priority line entry to the park. It is the smart thing to do!
Is there a lot of walking?
Yes. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes.
Are you still open when it is raining?
Rain or shine, we are open. Dress accordingly.
Where can I buy tickets to the showcase?
If you decide to ride the shuttle bus, you can buy your tickets
at the sales booths located in the parking lots. This will give
you priority line access entry to the park upon arrival. You
may also buy your tickets at sales booths located at the entrances
to the park and at Sharp Seating in Pasadena prior to January
2, 2008.
