Oktoberfest
Burbank uses an annual open design contest. Anyone, anywhere may submit a concept drawing. After all the entries are recieved, a two-step selection process takes place. First the Board of Directors screens the designs for theme-appropriate content and buildability. Next, the entire membership votes on the selected designs. The membership voted for Oktoberfest. Parade viewers will all enjoy the German oompah-style band and costumed dancers.
