We've got our own star!
We're celebrating our 60th anniversary all this year, and to kick it off KTLA received its very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on January 24, 2007. Click for video | Click for photos
The KTLA Morning Show was broadcast live from Hollywood and Highland on that day, with featured guests The Chris Walden Band, LAUSD Superintendent David Brewer, LAPD Chief Bill Bratton, Melissa Rivers, Stan Chambers, Hal Fishman and Honorary Mayor Johnny Grant.
KTLA's Award of Excellence Star was presented by Hollywood's Honorary Mayor Johnny Grant, with nearly every member of the KTLA family in attendance. Cake and champagne followed at an exclusive reception afterward in Teddy's Lounge at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
