Chino Shooting

On January 29, 2006, Elio Carrion was shot and wounded at the end of a car chase by 45 year old San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputy Ivory John Webb. Deputy Webb told investigating officers that he fired at Carrion after “he tried to get up and lunged” at him. But, a videotape, shot by a neighbor, shows a different story. Though the tape is grainy and the audio is at times difficult to hear, it shows Webb shooting Carrion as he appears to be complying with the deputy’s order to “get up”. The tape first aired on television on KTLA’s prime News and has become the subject a local and federal investigation. Click for video
