About KTLA Charities
KTLA Charities is a charitable giving fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation which addresses the health and well being of children, youth and families. Through a foundation-approved grant process, the fund primarily supports organizations from the southern California and Los Angeles area. Over the past several years, KTLA Charities granted more than $14 million to local organizations.

Program Guidelines
Grants are made from the KTLA-TV Charities Fund in response to applications from organizations primarily in the Greater Los Angeles area that serve the following constituencies or address the following priority program interests:
Academic Achievement
- Arts/Culture in Education
- After-School Tutoring /Literacy/Enrichment
- Mentorship/Leadership & Life Skills
Child and Youth Development
- Child Care/Early Childhood Development
- Alternatives for At-Risk Youth
Health
- Childhood Diseases (prevention, treatment, public education)
- HIV-AIDS (prevention, treatment, public education)
Holiday Events/Disadvantaged Children
Homelessness & Hunger
- Emergency Shelter/Transitional Services
- Emergency Hunger Relief Services
- Ancillary Services for the Homeless & Hungry

All requests for support require a completed application form to be received at the address listed below. There is no guarantee of annual support.
KTLA-TV Charities Fund and the Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
